selenicseasApril was another busy month. I think I've said that for every month this year, but it's been true every month. I've had a fairly busy year so far.
I didn't make as much progress on my writing as I'd have liked to, due to a pest problem that showed up halfway through the month. I still managed to (finally!) finish Act 4 of Selegesine's Shadow. I also wrote down some notes for my new story idea and worked on the (still unnamed) conlang that I've decided will be used for the aforementioned new story.
In more positive news, I wrote eleven blog posts – twelve, if you count the March 2025 Overview post. I also completed two pieces of pixel art after not doing any pixel art since December. They can be seen on the pixel art page of my website or on these two posts on Dreamwidth: Swan Nebula and Weeping Willow.
I finished reading Sarah Pinsker's Lost Places and started Sarah Wynn-William's Careless People. I started watching season 2 of Andor, which I've been eagerly awaiting since 2022. I even wrote up some of my thoughts on the episodes that have been released so far. I watched zero movies this month – instead, I finished watching seasons 1 and 2 of the X-Files. I'm on Season 3 now. I didn't do much gaming, either…mostly because I was watching the X-Files instead.
