I didn't write as much as I wanted to this month. In fact, I didn't reach my minimum goal of 8,400 words – I only reached 5,774. After I finished the outline for Selegesine's Shadow, I sort of ran out of steam and only worked on blog posts and reviews. I wrote 10 blog posts and four reviews: for Careless People, The Struggle Against the State and Other Essays, Andor S2 E4-6, and Horizon Forbidden West.
I changed up my reading schedule a little bit. This allowed me to finish reading Careless People and start (and finish) reading The Struggle Against the State and Other Essays before the end of the month. Since those two books were nonfiction, I decided that the next book to read would be fiction: Babel-17. That one's currently in progress. I also read a decent number of short stories, including a few that made it to my April-June recommendations list.
I also finally finished playing Horizon Forbidden West! I am so happy to be done with that game. The game I've moved on to is Quantum Break, which I know for certain is much shorter. I've also written down some thoughts on it, so I'll probably be posting a review for it sometime in June.
